What is it with rappers and R&B singers fighting over whether they’ve kissed or not? First there was Eminem and Mariah Carey’s did they/didn’t they affair, then 50 Cent and Mya made claim and counter-claim about the intimacy of their relationship, or lack of relationship, or whatever...
And now Eminem is back, and he STILL can’t let his version of Mariah-gate go, even though he’s been remarried and re-divorced since then and everything.
He was speaking about him and Mazza on his online radio show recently, and said this: "Me and Mariah did have a relationship for about a good six, seven months...It didn’t work. I wasn’t really into what she was into. Our personalities collided. She’s a diva, and I’m a little more regular, I guess."
"I can never deny her talent, but the fact that she denied we ever had something, that’s bad."
Is it possible he dreamed it happened? Or that she dreamed it didn’t? C’mon, you two, get your stories straight!

Mariah Carey has binned plans to launch her own clothes range.
She said: "So many lower-level stars do this. I think it’s overload. I will wait until the time is right, which is not now."

Hong Kong Hooey
What is it about Mariah Carey and rumours of diva-like behaviour? They seem to stick to her like velcro-covered stickybuds in a honey shower, 24 carat gold ones of course.
The latest allegation centres on the cancellation of a Mariah concert in Hong Kong, which the promoters claim is down to Mariah’s demands, and poor ticket sales.
The New York Daily News quotes a statement issued by promoters One Events, which reads: "We have decided to cancel the event ... due to both the poor response of public ticket sales and also due to specific last-minute demands which we find wholly unreasonable."
Meanwhile, a source told the NYDT: "She was making demands like Streisand. She wanted special spring water, furniture, lighting and armed escorts."
"They told her: `This is Hong Kong, not the U.S.,’ and she said: `I am not going on.’ So they said: `Fine.’"
Mariah’s management have countered the allegation, claiming that ticket sales and demands were not the problem. Manager Benny Medina said: "In these cases, the artist arrives in their tour bus, goes to a backstage room, performs and then leaves. This promoter is resorting to lies and attacks on Mariah when it’s just a result of the fact he can’t pay his bills."
And that can’t be down to poor ticket sales, surely?
Celebrities Thank Their Lucky Stars
THE secret of fame for celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Keira Knightley, Russell Crowe and Eric Clapton has been revealed - it’s written in the stars.
They share the same sign of the zodiac, Aries, along with Quentin Tarantino, Mariah Carey and David Blaine.
And it is the luckiest star sign to be born under, according to a survey of bingo players.
It found more than one in eight bingo winners were Arians, who are known for being assertive, competitive, daring, enterprising and, above all, lucky.
And they should make the most of their good fortune today as it is set to be the luckiest day of the year for them.
The moon is in Aries, which means they should feel a sense of well-being and positivity.
Pisces was the second-luckiest star sign in the survey, with 12 per cent of bingo winners sharing it, followed by Scorpio with 10 per cent.
Leo, Libra and Cancer completed the top six, based on the poll of 1000 players. Aquarius was the unluckiest star sign.

Mariah Concert Shelved After Row
Singer Mariah Carey’s concert in Hong Kong has been shelved after a dispute between the star and promoters.
The 36-year-old’s manager has denied that it was cancelled due to poor ticket sales and "specific last-minute demands" from the star.
Benny Medina told the Associated Press that the gig was scrapped because promoters Concerts Asia failed to pay the singer her fee on time.
He added that they are trying to stage the concert with another promoter.
But Carey is planning to return to the US to work on a film and her next album, while Concerts Asia said on its website that an announcement will be made next week about refunds for ticket holders.
"No question"
Mr Medina said that the date would have been honoured even if ticket sales had proved sluggish, adding that 8,000 tickets had been sold - double the figure claimed by the promoter.
"If there were only 10 people in this venue, and this particular promoter had fulfilled his contractual obligations, we would be there. Mariah Carey loves her fans in South-East Asia."
"He has defaulted several times, right up into the last 48 hours. Literally we tried to hang in there with this guy. "
"There’s no question that Mariah is excited to go back to Hong Kong in the very near future," he added.
The tour was the first since the release of Carey’s Grammy-winning album The Emancipation of Mimi, which Mr Medina has called her most successful to date.

Mariah's Hong Kong Concert Cancelled
Promoters have cancelled Mariah Carey’s concert in Hong Kong due to a poor response and what they characterised as "unreasonable demands" from the US pop singer.
The promoters, Concerts Asia, announced the decision in a statement posted on their website.
"As promoters of the Mariah Carey Hong Kong concert, we have decided to cancel the event effective immediately due to both the poor response of public ticket sales and also due to specific last-minute demands which we find wholly unreasonable and not with the best interests of Hong Kong, us and also the fans," the statement said.
It did not elaborate on what Carey’s demands were.
Concerts Asia said it had only sold 4,000 tickets despite a "substantial" advertising campaign.
Carey was due to perform outdoors on Saturday near Hong Kong’s central financial district.

FORMER Dr Who star Billy Piper says she wouldn’t go back to a pop career - because she was a chancer in that biz.
She said: "It’s really hard work. I think if you wake up with the voice of Mariah Carey or you play an instrument then being a popstar is great."

Dupri Quits Job for Janet
Janet Jackson’s boyfriend, producer Jermaine Dupri, is out at Virgin Records.
Dupri was head of urban music at Virgin. But late yesterday, according to my sources, Dupri quit—i.e. was forced out—after disappointing sales of Jackson’s comeback album called "20 YO."
Three weeks into its release, the album is a dud with less than 500,000 copies sold. I told you in this space last week, before anyone else, that the CD had dropped an astonishing 77 percent in sales in its second week.
For Jackson, this is especially painful since "20 YO" was the last album on her Virgin contract. She now faces the task of negotiating a new deal with little leverage.
Dupri was partially responsible along with Randy Jackson ("American Idol" fame, not the brother) for making Mariah Carey’s "Emancipation of Mimi" album a monster hit. With Janet, he opted to make her into something she couldn’t be at age 40—a hip hop diva—rather than present her as an adult star. Kids did not flock to her, and adults didn’t want to hear it.
At the 11th hour there was talk of Mariah possibly re-recording one of the "20 YO" songs with Janet to resuscitate the album. But with Dupri gone, "20 YO" will probably just get written off as a mistake now. This will leave Jason Flom, head of Virgin, to rebuild the urban department at the label—something I’m told he’s been itching to do since he took over last year.

Recording Giant Suing Sharing Sites
Universal Music has launched legal actions against two video sharing websites.
The biggest record company in the world alleges that Grouper and Bolt are allowing "mass infringement" of copyright by their users. Bosses are claiming damages of up to $150,000 for every video swapped without permission.
Their case says Grouper has gained users and become "valuable" with "use and exploitation of copyrighted material". It states that a search of the website brings up a number videos by Mariah Carey, one of Universal's artists.
A spokesman stated: "Grouper and Bolt cannot reasonably expect to build their business on the backs of our content without permission."
Bolt chief executive Aaron Cohen insisted that, when notified, his site removed copyrighted material. "There's no question that people upload copyrighted content from time to time," he told Reuters. "Occasionally we receive official notices to remove content and we do."
Fellow video sharing giant YouTube has already agreed a deal with Universal, but the company said it failed to reach an agreement with Grouper or Bolt.

I met Mariah Carey in Milan, Italy
It was my first trip to Milan. I think it was in 1999 or 2000. I went to a shopping center next to the Duomo cathedral. There was a huge crowd and lots of press people. They were all crowded around a record store Ricordi Media. I didn't know what was going on, so I pushed my way up to the barrier and saw Mariah posters covering all the windows of the store. One said "Welcom Mariah." Just then, the guards opened up the barrier in front of me and let a bunch of us into the store. I assumed that they would be bringing Mariah out for autographs, so I bought her new CD Rainbow and stood in line. They brought her out to a table that had some microphones. She started signing autographs. In between autographs she did a radio interview. When it was my turn to get an autograph, I walked up and smiled. I told her that I came all the way from Hawaii, where I grew up, and said that I loved the concert she did there. She asked what I was doing all the way over here. I said that I work for an airline and was on my first layover in Milan. We chatted for about 30 seconds, but I felt like I was going to get in trouble, since more people were waiting. I asked her if I could get a quick picture with her. She said that she'd love to, but these two guys (referring to the two huge bodyguards, one on each side of the table) won't like it. I thanked her, and she said it was great to meet me.
Most people either left the store or stood way in the back to look at her after they got autographs. I decided to stand in line again to see if she would sign a CD for my sister. There were about 10 of us left in line when they took her away behind the curtain. A lady came out speaking Italian. I asked if she could speak English. She told me that those of us left in line, since we didn't get autographs, would be put on the list for the private party that night. She asked me for an ID, put my name on the list, and gave me a card with a picure of Mariah on it that said I was invited to her private party. I caught a cab that night to Cafe L'Atlantique (I hear it's owned by Dolce & Gabana) and, sure enough, I was on the list. The club was full of energy. There were a lot of beautiful people, dressed in all kinds of fashions. They played Mariah videos all night on the multi-screen wall. At one point, Mariah was freestyling with another singer. It was a very memorable night. I got to party with Mariah in Milan!

Janet Jackson Album Sales Shame
Janet Jackson’s seriously bad new album "20 Y.O" may cause her man Jermaine Dupri to quit as president of the Virgin Urban division.
Dupri who produced Jackson’s flop record is placing the blame for poor sales at the door of Virgin marketing executives; Dupri believes that poor sales can be blamed on lack of radio play and bad marketing rather then bad songs.
It has also been rumoured that Dupri is considering whacking a Mariah Carey duet on a new version of the album to boost sales.
